Mizuno RB Tour Review
2024MizunoGolf Ball
A tour ball from a company better known for irons, and it plays like the irons: quietly excellent.

Mizuno does not need to make golf balls and the RB Tour reads like a product designed by people who wanted to. The four piece construction with a cast urethane cover gives it tour level greenside spin, and the feel is the firm, precise sensation that Mizuno iron players tend to prefer. The distinctive feature is the dimple pattern, which uses far more and smaller dimples than the norm and was designed to reduce drag in a headwind; on a blustery day the flight is noticeably more stable than the Pro V1's, and the manufacturer's claims here are backed by independent testing.
Off the tee it is long with a mid flight, best suited to a swing above 95 miles an hour. The reasons it is not more widely played are distribution and price: it is hard to find in North American shops and costs what a Pro V1 costs, so a golfer has to seek it out to discover it. Those who do rarely go back.
