2025BridgestoneGolf Ball
Bridgestone's best seller gives away yards off the tee and pays them back in feel and a surprising amount of wedge spin.

The e6 is the longest running model and the biggest seller in Bridgestone's history, and the 2025 model leans harder than ever into the word that sells it. The core is larger and softer than before, the ionomer cover has been softened to quieten the sound at impact, and compression has dropped a few more points into the neighbourhood of the softest balls on the market.
Feel is the headline and nobody disputes it. Off irons and wedges it is plush, off the putter it rolls away with a muted, calm thud, and it feels more expensive in the hand than the price suggests. More surprising is the short game. Hand testing found wedge spin from fifty yards of the kind that normally belongs to multi layer urethane balls, and in robot testing its pitch spin sat slightly above the two piece average.
Distance is where the bill arrives. In a 62 ball robot test it sat in the bottom half of the two piece field for carry at every swing speed, and a quicker player sees driver spin wander from shot to shot, which costs both carry and predictability. For a slow, smooth swing the soft core gives back what it takes and the flight is straight and forgiving; for anyone faster, the e12 models further up Bridgestone's range are simply better balls.
At twenty four dollars a dozen, a dollar less than the model it replaced, it is priced for golfers who lose a few a round and would rather they felt good on the way. Choose it for touch around the green, not for the tee.
