Using TierMarks means accepting what is on this page. It is short on purpose, and it says what we actually do.

What this site is

TierMarks publishes reviews and grades them S to F. A grade is an opinion — a considered one, produced by the rubric on the methodology page, but an opinion. Nothing here is advice: not purchasing advice, not financial advice, not professional advice of any kind. What you buy, watch or play is your call.

The reviews are ours

The review text, the verdict lines, the category breakdowns, the grades and this site’s design are our copyright. Quote a passage if you attribute it and link to the page it came from — that is what quoting is for. Do not republish a review in full, scrape the catalog, or mine the grades in bulk to build a derived or competing dataset.

Artwork belongs to the people who made it

Poster, cover and still artwork illustrating a review is the property of its publisher or studio and appears here at low resolution to identify the work under critical review (fair use). We do not claim it and we do not license it onward. Our position and the removal route are set out in the artwork credits; a rights holder who wants a file taken down should read the contact page.

What you post

Comments, display names and votes are yours. You keep ownership of anything you write. By posting it you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, moderate and excerpt that content on this site for as long as the page it belongs to exists, and you confirm it is yours to post in the first place.

Moderation

We moderate. Comments that are abusive, off-topic, promotional, or an attempt to work a grade get removed, and the browser or verified address behind a pattern of them can be blocked. Removal is not a punishment and it is not an argument to be won at length; this is a review site, not a forum.

Votes

The reader grade only means something if it is one grade per person. Voting more than once on a product, automating a vote, or organising a group to move a score is prohibited, and votes we detect that way are discarded from the tally without notice. What is collected to make that possible — and what is not — is set out in the privacy notice.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be available, complete, current, or free of error, and a grade can change when a product changes — that is what the on-page review changelog is for. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using this site or from acting on a grade. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Other people’s services

Some pages link out, and the homepage loads a muted trailer from YouTube’s no-cookie domain. What happens on someone else’s service is governed by their terms, not by these; what that particular embed means for you is spelled out in the privacy notice.

Changes

These terms were last updated in September 2026. If they change in a way that affects what you may do or what happens to what you post, the change is made here and the date above moves with it. Continuing to use the site after that is acceptance of the new version.
