Webflow's difference from every drag and drop builder is that the visual editor is CSS, not a metaphor for it. Margins, flexbox, grid and breakpoints are all there under their real names, so a designer who understands the box model can build a site that a developer would not be ashamed of, and the export is clean. The content management system is good enough for a marketing site or a blog, the hosting is fast, and the visual editor for clients means an agency can hand over a site the client can update without breaking.
The learning curve is the cost, and it is steep: a beginner will not build anything in Webflow that they could not build faster elsewhere, and the interface assumes vocabulary that has to be learned. Pricing is per site and climbs with the content management features, so an agency with many clients pays many times. It is the professional's builder, and it is priced and designed for the professional.
