monday.com organises work into boards: rows are items, columns are typed fields for status, people, dates, numbers, formulas or links to other boards, and the resulting grid is deliberately colourful so a manager can read state at a glance. The same items render as kanban, calendar, timeline, Gantt, chart or workload views, and dashboards aggregate widgets across boards for portfolio-level reporting.
Automations are configured from plain-language recipes rather than a scripting console, which is the main reason non-technical teams adopt it quickly. Around the core Work Management product the company has layered monday CRM, monday dev and monday service on the same platform, sharing objects and permissions. Forms handle intake and guests can be granted restricted access.
Seats bill per user per month with a three-seat minimum on paid tiers, stepping through Basic, Standard and Pro before Enterprise is quoted, and annual billing discounts roughly eighteen percent. Founded in 2012. This entry carries a provisional placeholder grade: it has not been through a full graded review yet, so every letter here sits at a neutral C until it is.
