Miro Review
The whiteboard that remote work needed, and the one that survived the crowd that followed.

When offices emptied, the whiteboard was the thing that did not translate, and Miro translated it. The canvas is infinite, multiple people move across it at once, and the sticky notes, arrows, frames and voting tools recreate a workshop well enough that many facilitators never went back to the wall. The template library covers retrospectives, journey maps, brainstorms and diagrams of every kind, and the integrations pull in Jira tickets, Figma frames and documents so the board becomes the meeting's record.
Performance on a large board is good, which is not true of every competitor. The costs are the usual ones for a tool that grew fast: a free tier limited to three boards, per seat pricing that adds up across a company, an interface that has accumulated features until the toolbar needs its own onboarding, and an AI layer that generates diagrams nobody asked for. For a distributed team it is the default and deserves to be.
