Asana models work as tasks that live in projects and can appear in several at once, which stops a single item from being duplicated across teams. Each task carries an assignee, due date, custom fields, subtasks, dependencies and comment history, and the same underlying data renders as a list, a kanban board, a timeline, a calendar or a workload chart depending on who is looking. Above that sit portfolios for tracking many projects together, goals that roll status upward, and rules that automate handoffs when a field changes or a task moves stage.
Forms standardise intake, and reporting dashboards chart completion and capacity without an export. Integrations cover the usual chat, storage and developer tools. Pricing runs per user per month, with a free Personal tier, Starter at $10.99 and Advanced at $24.99 on annual billing, and Enterprise quoted. Founded in 2008; the product launched in 2012. This entry carries a provisional placeholder grade: it has not been through a full graded review yet, so every letter here sits at a neutral C until it is.
