Titleist Vokey SM10 Review

A refinement rather than a rethink, with the trajectory tuned loft by loft instead of across the set.

There is not much left to invent in a Vokey, so the tenth version does something quieter and more useful. Instead of a single centre of gravity strategy across the set, the placement is tuned by loft band: forward and low in the pitching and gap wedges where players want a flatter, more controllable full shot, further back in the lob wedges where the priority is getting the ball up quickly from a bad lie.
The result is a set that feels more coherent as you move through it, with the pitching wedge flight now genuinely matching the iron below it. The grind range and the fitting system carry over unchanged, which is the right call. Feel is superb, a soft press that older Vokeys did not quite manage, and the new finishes wear more evenly than the SM9 jet black did. The price crept to $189 a head, which is where the honest criticism sits. Buy it if you are replacing worn wedges. Do not replace SM9s that still bite.
