TSR3 pairs a compact players' profile with the most complete fitting package Titleist offers. The face uses a speed ring variable thickness pattern, a band of controlled thickness circling the centre that is intended to hold ball speed on strikes just outside the sweet spot rather than dropping away sharply. Underneath, the SureFit CG track carries a weight across five detented positions from draw to fade, changing bias without altering swing weight, and the SureFit hosel adds sixteen loft and lie settings on top of that.
The head sits smaller and squarer at address than the TSR2, with a more forward centre of gravity that produces lower spin and a flatter, more penetrating flight, which is a benefit for a player who delivers enough loft and a problem for one who does not. Lofts are 8, 9 and 10 degrees. Provisional entry, held flat at C as a placeholder until a fitting session and range testing produce numbers worth standing behind.
