A 430cc spin killer for players who hit it too high, and a punishment for everyone else.

TSi4 answers one question and ignores every other. If your driver spins near three thousand revolutions and balloons, the low forward centre of gravity in this 430cc head will take several hundred off that number and hand back real distance, and the aerospace grade ATI 425 face keeps ball speed high enough that the lower spin does not cost carry. That is a narrow brief and it fills it better than anything else Titleist made that year.

The cost is written into the shape. A compact deep face with the mass forward means a low moment of inertia, and strikes out of the heel or high toe lose speed and drift in a way the TSi2 simply does not. There is no movable weight to soften that, only the sixteen position SureFit hosel and a shaft. It sounds tight and quick at impact and looks beautiful at address. At $549 it is a fitting result rather than a shop purchase, and for the right swing it is worth every dollar.
