Titleist GTS4 Review

2026TitleistGolf Club

Titleist's spin killer grew to a full 460cc and learned to move its weight, and it still reports every miss straight back to you.

Every Titleist driver carrying a 4 has been a small head for a fast player who spins the ball too much, and every one of them punished the golfer who was not that player. The GTS4 is the first to grow up. The head is a full 460cc where the GT4 was 430cc, built on the same thermoformed crown and split mass frame as the rest of the GTS line, and the sole carries an adjustable CG track with a separate flat weight at the back. Run the track forward and the spin falls away the way it always has. Put weight behind the face and the head holds a heel strike better than any 4 model before it.

Spin is still the reason to buy it. It is the lowest spinning head in the GTS family, and testers report it settling around 2,400 to 2,500 revolutions on a launch monitor, which is the profile a high spin player needs to stop the ball climbing and dropping short. Speed off the middle is among the fastest of the 2026 field. What it will not do is rescue a poor strike. A small miss is felt in the hands and shows on the launch monitor, and a golfer who finds the toe twice a round belongs in the GTS2 sitting beside it on the same rack.

Sound and feel are good rather than remarkable: a light, quiet, mid pitched pop from the center and a clangy note from the toe that tells you exactly what you did, honest feedback rather than flattery. Six hundred and ninety nine dollars is the top of this year's driver market, fifty dollars above the Ping G440 K and the Callaway Quantum Max, and Titleist charges the same for every GTS head, which makes the narrowest club in the family the least generous buy in it. It reached shops on the eleventh of June after a spring in tour bags.
