Titleist 910H Review

The first hybrid you could fit like a driver, and it behaves far more like an iron than a small wood.

Most hybrids of the period asked you to accept whatever lie angle the factory chose, which matters more here than anywhere else in the bag, because a hybrid set two degrees flat pulls every shot left of the target. The 910H takes the same ring and sleeve as the driver and hands a fitter sixteen loft and lie settings on a club that lives at the top of the bag, and that alone put it ahead of the field. The head is small, a compact pear with a shallow face and a rounded sole that enters the turf like a long iron rather than skidding across it like a cut down fairway wood, and the flight is a mid height penetrating one that stops on a green through speed rather than spin.
That shaping costs forgiveness. There is no wide sole and no deep back weight to rescue a heel strike, so a player who wants a hybrid to launch the ball for them should look elsewhere. For anyone replacing a two or three iron and wanting the same shot shape, it is exact.
