A big, easy hybrid that launches from anywhere, as long as you do not want to work the ball.

The Stealth 2 Rescue is a rescue club in the literal sense. The centre of gravity sits low and back, the face carries an inverted cone geometry that props up ball speed toward the heel and toe, and the crown is deep enough that a swing arriving at a steep angle out of thick rough still produces a shot that climbs. From a fairway it is long and remarkably tolerant of a thin strike, which for most players is the miss that matters.
What it will not do is behave. The head is large, the shaping strong, and it wants to fly high and straight with a hint of draw, so a player trying to hold a low fade into wind is fighting the design. Feel is firm and a little loud, more metallic than the fairway woods in the same family. There is no adjustable hosel, so lofts are fixed at 19, 22, 25 and 28 degrees and fitting happens through the shaft. At $279.99 it does the job it was built for and not much else.
