2024TaylorMadeGolf Club
The sensible middle of the Qi10 family: most of the Max's stability without the shoebox footprint.

Qi is short for Quest for Inertia, and the standard Qi10 is the sensible middle of the family, sitting between the 10K-MOI Max and the low-spin LS without the compromise either one asks for. The Infinity Carbon Crown covers almost the entire top of the head, which is worth grams rather than grins, and those grams land low and deep behind the face. The 60X Carbon Twist Face carries over from the Stealth generation and is the reason the sound went from tinny to a firm, low crack.
Off the middle it is not longer than the LS, and it was never meant to be. What it does is hold ball speed on strikes an inch out toward the toe, where a lot of drivers give up three hundred revolutions of spin and eight yards. The shaping is compact for a high-MOI head and it sits square rather than shut. At six hundred dollars you pay flagship money for very good, which is the only real knock.
