Rebound Frame: four alternating flexible and rigid zones so the whole head returns energy, not just the face.

ZX5 is built on Rebound Frame, which treats the face and body as one energy system rather than treating the face alone as the spring. Four alternating zones, flexible then rigid then flexible then rigid, run from the strike area back into the body, so energy that would normally be absorbed by the chassis is returned to the ball. Above it sits the Star Frame crown, a carbon panel braced by a star-shaped rib pattern that allows a thinner top and a lower centre of gravity.
The head is a full 460cc with mass set back for stability, producing mid to high launch with mid spin, and Srixon tunes impact sound toward the soft end, which is a noticeable contrast to the sharper Cobra and TaylorMade heads of the period. Fitting is a twelve-setting hosel plus shaft, with stock lofts at 9.5 and 10.5 degrees. The letters are a provisional placeholder: nothing gets a real grade until it has been hit on a range and measured rather than read about.
