The rare draw-bias driver that fixes the slice without looking shut or turning a fade into a hook.

Draw-bias drivers are usually a compromise you accept and quietly resent. The G440 SFT is the exception, because Ping builds the bias into mass placement rather than into a shut face, so it looks square at address and simply runs out of right side. Roughly twenty yards of correction is available, which is enough for a genuine slicer without turning a mild fade into a hook. The Carbonfly Wrap crown pulls carbon down over the skirt and frees real grams for a tungsten back weight, and the face is thinned toward the low heel, exactly where a slicer's strike pattern lives, so the misses that used to fall out of the sky now hold their line and their height.
The hosel adjusts a degree and a half either way, lofts are 9 and 10.5 degrees, and it makes the classic Ping sound, a low muted thud that flatters a slightly thin strike. For the player it is built for, nothing else is close.
