G410 Plus is the model where Ping finally added movable weight, and it did so in the least fussy way possible: a sixteen-gram tungsten weight at the back of the sole that unscrews and clicks into a draw, neutral or fade position, worth roughly ten yards of shot shape either side of centre. The head is 455cc rather than a full 460cc, slightly more compact and more pear-shaped than the G400 Max, which reads better to a faster player at address.
The crown uses the dragonfly thin-panel pattern to save mass, and the face is a thin forged T9S+ plate. Trajectory Tuning 2.0 is the other change, an eight-position hosel that adjusts lie angle as well as loft, so a flat or upright fit no longer costs a loft change. Lofts are 9, 10.5 and 12 degrees, with the LST and SFT covering low spin and draw bias. The letters are a provisional placeholder: nothing gets a real grade until it has been hit on a range and measured rather than read about.
