2026MizunoGolf Club
A hollow Chromoly long iron and a forged short iron in one set, and Mizuno got the join right.

Sets built from two constructions usually betray themselves somewhere around the seven iron, where the fast hollow head hands over to the forging and the feel falls off a cliff. The M-15 is the cleanest version of the idea anyone has managed. The 4 through 8 irons are hollow, with a 4135+ Chromoly face thin enough to flex properly and a suspended nickel tungsten bar of around 51 grams sitting low in the head to lift launch. The 9 iron down is Grain Flow Forged 1025E, partially hollow, built for control. Extending the contoured ellipse face through the 8 iron rather than stopping at the 7 gives the mid irons the speed that the Pro 245 kept for the long ones.
Feel is very good and not quite Mizuno at its best, which is the fair way to say it. The short irons are as soft as anything the company forges, the long irons are firmer and louder than a solid head, and the transition is smoother than the join in any rival set.
Forgiveness is players iron forgiveness, meaning a heel strike costs real yardage. Two hundred and fifteen dollars a club, about fifteen hundred for seven in steel, is the highest price in this class.
