A grain flow forged HD muscle back for the small number of players who deserve one.

The Pro 221 is a muscle back and makes no concession to anyone who is not striking the ball well. One piece grain flow forged 1025E carbon steel with a copper underlay beneath the chrome, milled and polished to a shape that has barely changed in thirty years, and a face that gives up ball speed the moment you miss the middle. Catch one out of the toe and it comes up ten yards short with a sting that arrives before you look up.
That is not a defect, it is the specification. What you get is feel that no other manufacturer reliably matches, a soft, dense, low frequency press that makes a well struck 6 iron worth the money on its own, plus a leading edge and sole that work a divot beautifully from a tight lie. Lofts are traditional and there is no gearing to flatter distance. An eight piece set cost $1,499.99 from February 2022. For maybe one golfer in fifty this is the best iron in the world.
