2022CobraGolf Club
The sharpest grooves Cobra can legally cut, at a price that undercuts every tour wedge on the rack.

The groove work is the whole club. Cobra cuts two different profiles depending on loft, narrow and deep in the pitching and gap wedges where full shot spin matters, wider and shallower in the sand and lob wedges where the ball needs to grab from grass, and adds a milled texture across the land between them. On full shots the spin sits with the best in the category, and off a wet lie the deeper grooves hold up better than a plated smooth face does.
Three grinds cover most needs without the depth of a Vokey fitting matrix, and the versatile sole is the one most players should take. The head is slightly larger and more forgiving than a tour blade wedge, so a strike toward the toe keeps more of its distance. Feel is the weak spot, firmer and clickier than the milled competition, though the head sits beautifully square. At $160 a head it is twenty dollars less than everything it competes with and gives up nothing that matters.
