PWR-Bridge weighting frees the sole and the bottom of the face, and the sound problem finally goes away.

Darkspeed put aerodynamics back at the centre of a Cobra driver and paired it with the PWR-Bridge, a weight suspended on a bridge behind the face rather than bolted to the sole. That sounds like a slogan until you see what it frees up: the sole beneath the bridge can be thinned, the mass sits lower than a sole-mounted screw can manage, and the face flexes more freely at the bottom, which is where amateur strikes actually land.
The face thickness map is shaped per model rather than shared across the family, and the chassis is largely carbon so the leftover grams go somewhere useful. The standard head is the neutral middle, mid launch and mid spin, with a compact, slightly stretched profile that fast players read as trustworthy. It sounds firm and low, a clear improvement on the Aerojet's crack. At $549 with real stock shaft options, it is the best all-round driver the company has built.
