The records
Newest first, each with the line its review opens on.
2014Animal AmbitionIndependent, competent and entirely inessential. Nobody has thought about this album since the week it came out.
2009Before I Self DestructA return to hardness that mostly proves hardness alone was never the appeal.
2007CurtisA pop record from someone who no longer sounded dangerous or interested. Chases everything, catches nothing.
2005The MassacreMore of everything, hooks included, at a length that dilutes the venom. Still holds three or four monsters.
2003Get Rich or Die Tryin'Menace and melody in the same breath, produced within an inch of its life and still enormous fun.
