Fujifilm answering the charge that it could not do speed, and it mostly works if you skip the resolution.

This is the Fujifilm that abandons the dials and builds a proper handling machine: deep grip, PASM dial, top status screen, a CFexpress slot alongside the SD one, and an optional cooling fan that clips onto the back. The stacked twenty-six megapixel sensor reads out fast enough for forty frames a second with no meaningful skew, which is the one thing the rest of the range cannot do at any price.

Video makes the strongest case. Open-gate 6.2K uses the full sensor for reframing, 4K120 is available without a crop, ProRes records internally in three flavours, and with the fan attached recording times stop being a consideration at all. The catch is that twenty-six megapixels next to the forty of the X-T5 makes this the lower-resolution and higher-priced body in the same lineup, which confuses people, and the stacked design gives up a little dynamic range at base sensitivity.

Autofocus improved substantially over previous generations without catching the class leaders. As a video-first or action-first APS-C body it is the most capable thing Fujifilm has built, and if you do not need the speed the cheaper stablemate takes better photographs.
