The best pocket video camera improved in every direction, and still not sold in the United States.

The Pocket 3 turned a niche into a category, and the Pocket 4 is what happens when nobody else turns up to compete. The one inch sensor and 20mm equivalent f/2.0 lens carry over in spirit, the three axis gimbal still does mechanical stabilisation no software can match, and the screen still rotates to flip the camera between vertical and horizontal.
What moved is the ceiling. 4K now runs to 240 frames a second, double the Pocket 3, and the log mode is full 10 bit D-Log rated at 14 stops rather than the cut down D-Log M. Internal storage jumps to 107 gigabytes at 800 megabytes a second, which matters once the high frame rate modes start filling cards in minutes. The battery covers about three hours at full resolution and reaches eighty per cent in eighteen minutes.
Two problems. Low light is still a one inch sensor doing its best, and subject tracking occasionally jumps to the wrong face in a crowd. The bigger one is availability: DJI launched worldwide in April 2026 at 499 dollars and skipped the United States, where buyers are paying importers around 615 dollars with no warranty behind it.
