Wunna Review
2020Album
The formula at its most polished, with a couple of hooks big enough to justify it.

Nothing about this record is ambitious and everything about it is well made. Wheezy and Turbo build fifty four minutes of bright, cushioned trap with the low end kept just heavy enough to move a car, and the vocal sits in the middle of it purring about clothes. Dollaz on My Head is the best track by a distance, a slow rolling beat and a guest who lifts him.
Skybox has the most infectious hook here. Addys and Argentina are dependable. The writing has one register and one subject, and by the twelfth track the effect is closer to a texture than a listening experience, which is either the appeal or the complaint depending on the day. It arrived in the middle of a locked down spring and became genuinely ubiquitous, which suggests the pleasure is real even if it is shallow. There is nothing here to argue with and nothing to hold onto.
