That's What They All Say Review
2020Album
A likeable rapper with one enormous single and an album that keeps forgetting to be interesting.

Whats Poppin is the reason this exists and it is a properly good single, a beat made of two notes and a bassline and a delivery that is relaxed enough to be charming without being lazy. The album around it is much less certain. He is a good technical rapper with an easy conversational tone and no clear subject, so the songs default to the standard material about money and women delivered without much appetite.
Tyler Herro is fun and slight. Way Out has a guest who outshines him comfortably. Route 66 and Same Guy are pleasant. The production is anonymous major label rap, clean and dated already. What comes through is likeability, which is a real asset and not a substitute for having something to say. He would find the answer to that three years later. This is the sound of someone enjoying the ride and not yet steering.
