The previous album worked because he was cornered, and this one demonstrates the point by removing the corner. Once the arguments died down he went straight back to the format, twenty tracks of glossy production and murmured luxury talk with the defensiveness sanded off, and the result is his most anonymous work. Bittersweet has a nice loop. Prada Dem does what the guest is there to do.

Whatsapp and Collage pass without leaving anything behind. The production is fine throughout, which is the problem, because fine over fifty eight minutes with one vocal register and one subject becomes wallpaper by the halfway mark. There is a version of him now capable of writing something with weight, and he chose not to. Commercially it did well enough. Artistically it is a step backwards taken deliberately, and there is very little to say about it beyond that.
