It's Only Me Review
2022Album
Twenty three tracks and seventy eight minutes of a good rapper coasting on a schedule.

This is what happens when an artist becomes an institution before they have built a second gear. Everything that worked on the previous record is present in weaker form, the same conversational flow, the same subjects, the same polished production, only now stretched across seventy eight minutes with no editing and no song that earns its place. Heyy has a decent loop. Real Spill opens with some energy.
In a Minute is the one that got played. Beyond that the album is a single undifferentiated stretch of adequate trap with a hook attached every few minutes to satisfy the format. The plainspoken quality that once read as honest starts reading as a lack of imagination when there is nothing specific being described. It debuted at number one and disappeared immediately. There is a fine forty minute record in here and no evidence anyone involved was looking for it.
