Indicud Review
2013Album
He took the production chair himself and the album turns into a very long instrumental with guests.

The ambition is to be a producer first and the results are uneven in ways he never quite hears. The beats are big and washy, layered guitars and slow drums that repeat for six minutes at a time, and without the discipline of an outside ear the tracks stop being songs and become environments. Just What I Am is the exception and a genuinely great single, a hook that lands the first time and a beat with actual weight.
Immortal has a lovely lift. Red Eye brings a guest who sounds like she has wandered in from a better record. Elsewhere the writing thins out to slogans about being different and being misunderstood, delivered with the conviction of someone who has already been told he is right. King Wizard is the low point. He was chasing a rock producer's album and made an unfinished one, and it is the first time the formula visibly stopped working.
