Hybrid only, 51 mpg, and the same dull competence that has made this the safest money in the segment for decades.

Deleting the V6 and the non hybrid four turned the Camry into the most quietly sensible car in America. Every 2025 car is a hybrid, which means about 51 mpg combined in front drive form and roughly 44 once you add the rear axle motor, and it means the electric assist fills the flat spot that always made the four cylinder feel strained pulling away. Around town it is genuinely brisk. Wring it out and the engine drones, because the planetary hybrid transmission holds revs the way it always has.
The cabin is the weak point and always has been. The layout is sane and the twelve inch screen is quick, but the plastics below the beltline are hard and the cloth on lower trims feels like a rental counter. What you are actually buying is the ownership record. These hybrid systems routinely pass two hundred thousand miles, the regenerative braking means pads last absurdly long, resale stays firm because used demand never softens, and no dealer will quote you four figures for routine work. It is not exciting. At the job it has chosen, it is close to unbeatable.
