2025Taycan Turbo SCar
Porsche fixed the range, added two hundred horsepower and left the only electric car that drives like a proper Porsche alone.

The facelifted Taycan answers the one criticism that stuck. A larger pack, better cell chemistry and a peak charging rate of 320 kilowatts push real world range to something a driver can plan around, and the new rear motor adds enough that the Turbo S makes 938 horsepower with launch control engaged. The two speed rear transaxle is still unique in the class and still the reason the car keeps pulling hard at a hundred and fifty rather than running out of breath.
What has never needed fixing is the chassis. The steering is the best in any electric car by a wide margin, the brake blending is seamless where rivals feel wooden, and the seating position is low and correct. The costs are Porsche costs. The options list is predatory, out of warranty work on air suspension and enormous tyres is expensive, and Taycan depreciation has been genuinely severe, worse than any combustion Porsche and worse than most of this field.
