Lexus UX 300h (2025) Review
2025UX 300hCar
Superb economy and Lexus durability wrapped around a car that is genuinely too small and too slow for the money.

The case for the UX is narrow but real: it returns economy figures that embarrass most hybrids, it is small enough for cities that defeat an NX, and it carries the same drivetrain durability as everything else the company sells. As a low-stress urban car for one or two people it works. The problem is the price it asks against what it gives. The rear seat and boot are genuinely small, small enough that the practicality argument for a crossover disappears entirely.
It is slow, and unlike the NX it is slow in a way you notice constantly rather than occasionally. The equipment list at the base price is thin. And the cabin, while well assembled, uses noticeably harder materials than the cars above it. A Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid does most of this for meaningfully less, which is the comparison the UX never quite survives.
