Lexus LX 600 (2024) Review
2024LX 600Car
A Land Cruiser in a dinner jacket, and the only luxury SUV here you would genuinely trust to cross a continent without pavement.

Everything good about this car comes from what it is underneath, and everything awkward about it does too. A ladder frame, a proper transfer case and Toyota's obsessive durability engineering make it close to unkillable, and there are parts of the world where that is the only specification that matters. The twin-turbo V6 is strong and the interior is quiet and beautifully assembled.
But a ladder frame in 2024 means it rides less well than any car-based rival, the third row is an afterthought in a vehicle this enormous, and the fuel economy is genuinely poor rather than merely thirsty. The front end is the most divisive design Lexus currently sells. Resale is superb because demand for indestructible large SUVs never falls. Buy it if you actually need what it does; almost nobody who buys one does, and for them the TX or the RX is the better car in every way that will apply.
