Kia EV6 (2025) Review
2025EV6Car
The same excellent hardware as the Ioniq 5 with a sharper chassis, and the 2025 update fixed most of the small stuff.

Underneath, the EV6 is an Ioniq 5, which means an 800 volt architecture, 350 kilowatt charging and vehicle to load. Above it, Kia made different choices. The roofline is lower and the driving position sits you further down, the springs and dampers are firmer, and the result genuinely steers better than the Hyundai without being uncomfortable with it. The 2025 update brought a larger battery for a real world range gain, a native Tesla style connector in North America, a much improved infotainment system and a redesigned steering wheel.
The cabin is the compromise. Rear headroom is tighter than the Ioniq 5, the boot is smaller, and the curved twin screen setup buries some climate functions behind a shared touch bar that toggles between media and temperature, which is exactly the sort of cleverness nobody asked for. The charging control unit recall touches these cars too. Values have been soft across the segment and Kia's are no exception, which is the used buyer's gain.
