Honda Odyssey (2025) Review
2025OdysseyCar
Still the best minivan to drive and now the worst one to fuel. Honda has run out of road on this platform.

Nobody builds a family bus that handles like this. The Odyssey steers with more precision than a two and a half ton box has any right to, the body control is genuinely good, and the sliding second row remains the cleverest seating solution in the class for anyone hauling three children who cannot be trusted next to each other. The 2025 update brings a sharper nose, a digital instrument display, a nine inch touchscreen with wireless phone mirroring and a rear entertainment system on the upper trims, and Honda deleted the cheapest trim so the range now opens above forty two thousand.
Reliability and running costs at the dealer remain strengths, and testers still rate the family packaging at the top of the segment. The problem is the powertrain. The V6 and ten speed automatic are smooth and completely obsolete, rated at twenty two combined and closer to twenty in the real world, while the Toyota is a hybrid rated in the mid thirties and the Kia now offers one too. That single number is why the economy grade sits two tiers under everything else here.
