2025MaverickCar
A pickup that returns thirty eight miles per gallon and costs less than most compact crossovers.

The idea is still the whole product. A unibody pickup about the size of an old Ranger, a hybrid powertrain rated in the forties around town, a bed with a slotted composite tub you can build shelves into, and a starting price in the twenties. Nothing else on sale offers that combination. The refresh keeps all of it and adds the things owners actually asked for: all wheel drive on the hybrid at last, a 13.2 inch screen, and a Lobo trim for buyers who wanted the lowered street truck version.
Reviewers are close to unanimous that it outscores every other pickup on sale for the way most people use one. The compromises are visible and honest. The cabin is hard plastic almost everywhere, the ride gets busy with an empty bed, and Ford's recent build quality record means the reliability line is not one you would bet the farm on. It tows and hauls less than a proper midsize truck. None of that changes the arithmetic, and the arithmetic is why this thing sells.
