Audi RS e-tron GT Performance Review
2025RS e-tron GT PerformanceCar
The same hardware as a Taycan with a softer edge and a better cabin, and exactly the same brutal resale curve.

Audi and Porsche split the same platform and made genuinely different cars from it. The Performance variant now makes 912 horsepower, which is enough to embarrass anything on a damp roundabout, and the 2025 revision brought the same larger battery and faster charging as the Taycan. Where the two diverge is intent. The Audi rides better, insulates more and treats a long motorway journey as the priority, with a cabin that is the best thing the brand has produced in a decade: proper materials, restrained design and switchgear that simply works.
It is still quick enough that the lap time difference is irrelevant to anyone not being paid to find it. The honest problems are the shared ones. It is heavy, the boot is small for a car this long, options inflate the price alarmingly, and residual values have been savage in exactly the way the Taycan's have. Out of warranty, the tyres, brakes and air springs are all serious bills.
