Microsoft Copilot Review
Microsoft CopilotAI Model
Not a model but an orchestration layer, and it wins on distribution: it is already inside Windows and Office.

Microsoft's consumer assistant, launched in February 2023 as Bing Chat and renamed that September. It is a product rather than a model: an orchestration layer combining OpenAI models with the Bing search index and Microsoft's own Prometheus system, deciding per query how much to search and how much to generate. The distribution is the point. It ships inside Windows 10 and 11, Edge, and the Microsoft 365 applications, with native clients for macOS, Android, iOS and visionOS, which puts it in front of more people daily than any standalone chat interface manages.
Features span text chat, voice conversation, image generation through Designer, and Copilot Vision for analyzing what is currently on screen. Most capability is available free; Copilot Pro at $20 a month adds priority access to newer models, custom assistants and higher-resolution image generation. Enterprise Microsoft 365 Copilot is licensed and priced separately per seat. This grade is a provisional placeholder pending hands-on testing.
