The X11L is TCL's no compromise flagship and a statement about how far Mini LED can go. TCL claims up to 10,000 nits of peak brightness and roughly 20,000 local dimming zones, figures no OLED comes close to, driven by a new Super QD Mini LED system that widens the color gamut toward the level of RGB backlights. In a bright room, or with the most demanding HDR highlights, nothing else shipping in 2026 hits this hard.
It is built for scale, offered only from 75 to 98 inches, with 144Hz gaming, Google TV, Bang and Olufsen tuned audio and Google Gemini features on board. For a big, bright home cinema in a room you cannot fully darken, the sheer light output is genuinely useful and often thrilling.
The trade offs are the familiar LCD ones, amplified by size. It uses a VA style panel, so viewing angles fall away off center, and even with thousands of zones some blooming around bright objects on black remains visible. Prices run from 6,999 dollars for the 75 inch to 9,999 dollars for the 98 inch, which is OLED flagship money for a set that beats OLED on brightness but not on contrast purity or off angle consistency. Buy it for a bright, giant, high impact picture. Look elsewhere for reference accuracy.
