The Frame is not judged on the terms that apply to the rest of this list, and that is the point. Off, it shows a painting on a matte panel behind a picture frame bezel, mounted flush to the wall with a single slim cable to a separate box, and in that mode it does what no other television does. On, it is a mid tier QLED with edge lighting rather than Mini LED, which means modest brightness, limited contrast and visible blooming in a dark room, at a price that would buy a far better picture from Samsung's own QN90D. The 2024 model improved the matte coating and added 120Hz on the larger sizes.
Whether it is good value depends entirely on whether you would otherwise have hung art on that wall. As a television it is a C and knows it; as an object in a room it has no competition, and Samsung prices it accordingly.
