The G6 is LG's 2026 flagship OLED and the set most of the industry measures itself against. It pairs a second generation Primary RGB Tandem panel with the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3, and LG claims roughly 20 percent more brightness than the G5 along with the lowest reflectivity it has shipped. In a dark room the result is the familiar OLED strength of perfect blacks and pixel level control, now with specular highlights that hold up far better in a bright living space than OLED could manage a few years ago.
For gaming it is close to a complete package. All four HDMI 2.1 inputs run 4K at up to 165Hz, variable refresh rate and low latency are in place, and LG added 4K at 120Hz cloud gaming support. Motion handling and upscaling from the Gen3 chip are excellent, and the webOS platform is quick if a little cluttered with promoted content.
The catch is price and the panel itself. At 3,399 dollars for the 65 inch and 4,499 dollars for the 77 inch, the G6 sits at the top of the market, and Samsung's S95H and Sony's OLED reach similar accuracy for similar money. OLED also still cannot match the raw peak brightness of the best Mini LED and RGB LED sets in a sunlit room. This is a TV for someone who wants the cleanest possible image for films and games and is willing to pay flagship money for it. Sizes run from 55 to 97 inches, with the 97 inch reaching near 25,000 dollars.
