Most of the G6's picture for a lot less, and the smartest value in 2026 OLED

The C6 is the volume OLED in LG's 2026 range and the one most buyers should look at first. Every size gets the Alpha 11 Gen3 processor, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, and 4K at up to 165Hz across four HDMI 2.1 ports, so as a gaming display it gives up very little to the G6. Picture quality carries the usual OLED advantages of perfect blacks, wide viewing angles and clean motion.
There is a useful wrinkle for 2026. The 77 and 83 inch C6 models, sold as C6H, move to a version of the four layer Primary RGB Tandem panel used in the flagship, while the 42 to 65 inch sets use LG's latest standard WOLED panel. That means the larger C6 sizes get closer to G6 brightness than the smaller ones, something worth knowing before you pick a size.
Value is the story. The 42 inch starts at 1,399 dollars, the 55 inch is 1,999 dollars and the 65 inch is 2,699 dollars, and for that you get a picture that only a trained eye will separate from sets costing far more. It is not the brightest OLED and it will still wash out against Mini LED in direct sun, but for a mixed room of films, sport and console gaming it is hard to beat. This is the sensible enthusiast pick of the year.
