The budget Mini LED that got bright enough to matter, and cheap enough to forgive the rest.

The U7N is built for the buyer who wants a large bright screen and does not want to think about it. Peak brightness is high for the money, the Mini LED dimming is competent if less refined than the U8N above it, and the set carries 144Hz and variable refresh support that puts it ahead of far pricier rivals for gaming. Colour is vivid out of the box in the way that sells televisions in a shop and needs taming at home.
The weaknesses are the usual ones at this tier: blooming around bright objects on dark backgrounds is visible, viewing angles are narrow, motion interpolation is heavy handed and best turned off, and the interface is quick but crowded. Panel uniformity varies between units more than it should. As a first large television, a second set for a bedroom, or a gaming display for a console, the value is hard to argue with; as a main screen for film it is a compromise you will see.
