Hisense U65QF Review
2025HisenseTV
The cheapest route to full bandwidth HDMI and a 144Hz panel, if the Fire TV home screen does not wear you down.

The U65QF arrived in June 2025 to put Mini LED and a gaming panel under a thousand dollars. It is sold only in the United States, and it runs Amazon's Fire TV rather than the Google TV Hisense ships everywhere else, which is the single biggest thing to decide about it before buying.
The specification is unusual for the money: a native 144Hz panel, full bandwidth HDMI that accepts 4K at 144Hz, Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+, and quoted brightness near 1,000 nits, enough to hold a picture together in a lit room. Ordinary SDR television looks better here than the price suggests, and for a games console on a budget there is nothing else at this level.
The dimming array is where the savings were taken. Counts published for the 65 inch run from 120 to 300 depending on the source, and either way it is a coarse grid, so bright objects on a dark field drag a halo with them and the black floor lifts whenever anything bright is on screen. Color drains quickly off axis. Fire TV puts advertising across the home row and pushes Amazon's own services hard. Listed at $999 for the 65 inch and routinely sold near $600, it is a bargain that does not reward close inspection.
