Unihertz took the Titan 2 to Kickstarter in June 2025 and shipped it in October at $400 retail, with early backers paying nearer $270. It has the shape of the BlackBerry Passport: a 4.5-inch square LCD at 1440 x 1440 over a three-row backlit keyboard that doubles as a touchpad for scrolling and cursor placement. The keys are firm, the layout puts the ALT key on the right where a thumb has to reach for it, and every symbol missing from the rows sends you back to the touchscreen.

A 2-inch 410 x 502 display on the back shows notifications and a clock, and most owners forget it is there. The Dimensity 7300 with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage is quick enough for the job, and the 5050 mAh battery goes two days on a charge, with 33W taking about ninety minutes. The 50MP main camera and 8MP 3.4x telephoto are the weak point, with motion blur and soft color even in daylight; the 32MP selfie camera is better.

It ships on Android 15 with upgrades promised through Android 17 from a company that has never been quick with patches. At 235g and 10.8mm thick it is too wide for a pocket and too pointy for a palm. For a keyboard loyalist it is the best option in years, which is why the Kickstarter sold out its early tiers. For anyone else it is a curiosity.
