The GT 7 Pro was one of the first phones on sale anywhere with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite, and Realme used the head start well. The 6.78-inch LTPO Samsung Eco² OLED Plus panel is one of the brightest of 2024, rated at 2000 nits in high brightness mode and 6500 nits on tiny HDR highlights, with 2600Hz PWM dimming. The global model carries a 6500 mAh battery with 120W charging and posted the best endurance figures in its class; the Indian model was cut to 5800 mAh, which Realme blamed on regulations.
It is sealed to IP68 and IP69, and the camera app has an underwater mode to prove it. The 50MP Sony IMX906 main camera on a 1/1.56-inch sensor with OIS is good, and the 50MP IMX882 3x periscope is better than most rivals at the price, but the 8MP ultrawide is a weak spot, the 16MP fixed-focus selfie camera is soft, and video stabilization trails the Chinese flagships.
The chip also throttles hard, a 55 percent result in GSMArena's CPU stress test, and most games are capped at 60fps. There is no eSIM. Realme UI 6.0 on Android 15 came with three OS upgrades and four years of patches promised, which is fair rather than generous. There was no US launch; the Indian price of Rs 59,999 for 12GB and 256GB converts to about $710, and that is the price the spec sheet is judged against.
