The Oppo Find X9 Pro is a maximalist Android flagship that leads with its camera and its battery. The star sensor is a 200MP Hasselblad tuned periscope telephoto, joined by a 50MP main and a 50MP ultrawide. That long lens captures crisp, detailed zoom shots and flattering portraits, and it is one of the best telephoto systems on any phone this year.
Endurance is the other headline. A 7,500mAh silicon based battery is enormous, and combined with the efficient MediaTek Dimensity 9500 it delivers nearly two days of ordinary use. Charging is fast too, at 90W wired and 50W wireless, so the large cell never feels like a burden. The 6.78 inch AMOLED is bright and smooth at 120Hz.
The software is ColorOS on Android 16. It is slick and full of features, though it borrows heavily from iOS in places and, depending on region, includes more preinstalled apps than some will like. Build quality is high, with a proper rating for dust and water.
The catch is availability. Oppo sells the Find X9 Pro across Europe and Asia at around 1,099 pounds, but not through official channels in the United States. If you can buy one, it is a superb camera and battery phone. American readers will have to admire it from a distance or import at their own risk.
