Infinix Note 60 Ultra

Infinix Note 60 Ultra Review

2026InfinixPhone

Infinix's most serious phone yet, with a 200MP camera, a 3.5x periscope, a 7000 mAh battery and satellite calls, and almost nowhere to buy it.

The Note 60 Ultra was announced at MWC in March 2026 and reached Malaysian pre-orders at RM2,999, roughly $750, with no US launch and, months later, still no confirmed Indian one. The aluminium unibody was designed with Pininfarina, and the flat camera plate hides a dot-matrix LED array that lights up for notifications, an idea borrowed from Nothing. The Dimensity 8400 Ultimate sits a step below the true 2026 flagships but stays stable under sustained load.

The 7000 mAh silicon-carbon battery charges at 100W wired, 48 minutes to full, and 50W wireless, and endurance is excellent. The 200MP Samsung HPE main camera on a 1/1.4-inch sensor has OIS, the 50MP 3.5x periscope has it too, and the 32MP selfie camera records 4K; only the 8MP ultrawide is basic. The 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED reaches 1600 nits in high brightness mode but carries no HDR10 certification, and the 144Hz mode is used sparingly.

The oddest extra is two-way satellite calling and messaging through Thuraya, which works only where Thuraya's footprint reaches. Two things cost it: an IP64 rating on a $750 phone, and XOS 16 on Android 16 with three OS upgrades promised by a company whose patch cadence has always been slow. GSMArena rated it 4.3 out of 5 and warned that hardly anyone can buy one.
