Oshawa Airport Golf Club Review
An executive eighteen beside the runway that never rises above filling the afternoon.

The honest case for Oshawa Airport starts and ends with its par 3s. Sprinkled among the seven short par 4s are one-shotters with real teeth, 200-plus yards into the prevailing southwest wind off the airfield, and a single-digit player can arrive thinking the course beneath them and leave having missed five greens. That is the course's one good trick. The rest of the eighteen is executive golf at its plainest: dead-flat terrain, holes separated by sapling rows rather than shaped by anything, no bunkering worth the name, and the airport fence line as the dominant visual on half the card.
Conditioning matches the ambition, with hard bare-patch fairways by midsummer and greens that roll approximately. It fills a real niche, since a full eighteen in three hours for around forty dollars suits seniors, juniors and iron-game tune-ups, and the value grade acknowledges that plainly. But there is no round here you remember the next morning, and a course has to clear that bar for the letter to climb.
