Dentonia Park Golf Course Review
Eighteen par threes in the east end, and a better hour than that sounds.

Dentonia is a par three course and the ravine setting saves it from being a pitch and putt. The holes run along and across Taylor Creek with enough elevation to make club selection a real question, and the longer holes, up to two hundred yards, ask for a proper iron rather than a wedge. For a golfer working on approach play it is the most useful hour in the city, and for a group of friends with two hours and no patience for a slow round it is close to ideal.
The conditioning is what a city can afford, with greens that are small and slow and tees that wear badly by August. Scenery is a wooded ravine that is prettier than its Danforth address suggests and no more. The value is exceptional. It makes no claim to be a serious course and it is not one; as a place to hit forty iron shots at a flag and walk home, it earns its keep.
